Question #1:
Are these the signs of an American collapse?
Most of us were not alive during the Great Depression, but those who were remember how incredibly painful it was for America to deleverage and bring the economic system back into some type of balance. So if our current debt bubble is far worse, what kind of economic horror is ahead for us?
But the truth is that we are facing some circumstances that even the folks back during the Great Depression did not have to deal with....
1 - Back in the 1930s, tens of millions of Americans lived on farms or knew how to grow their own food. Today the vast majority of Americans are totally dependent on the system for even their most basic needs.
2 - A vast horde of Baby Boomers is expecting to retire, and the "Social Security trust fund" has nothing but 2.5 trillion dollars of government IOUs in it. According to an official U.S. government report, rapidly growing interest costs on the U.S. national debt together with spending on major entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare will absorb approximately 92 cents of every dollar of federal revenue by the year 2019. This is a financial tsunami the likes of which Americans back in the 1930s could never have even dreamed of.
3 - American workers never had to compete for jobs with workers on the other side of the world back in the 1930s. But today, millions upon millions of our jobs have been "outsourced" to China, India and a vast array of third world nations where desperate workers are more than happy to slave away for big global corporations for less than a dollar an hour. How in the world are American workers supposed to compete with that?
4 - Back in the 1930s, there was nothing like the gigantic derivatives bubble that hangs over us today. The total value of all derivatives worldwide is estimated to be somewhere between 600 trillion and 1.5 quadrillion dollars. The danger that we face from derivatives is so great that Warren Buffet has called them "financial weapons of mass destruction". When this bubble pops there won't be enough money in the entire world to fix it.
5 - During the Great Depression, the United States economy was relatively self-contained. But today we truly do live in a global economy. Unfortunately that means that a severe economic crisis in one part of the world is going to affect us as well. Right now, the United States is far from alone in dealing with a massive debt crisis. Greece, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Portugal and a number of other European nations are in real danger of actually defaulting on their debts. Japan (the third biggest economy in the world) is on the verge of complete and total economic collapse. So what happens to the U.S. economy when the dominoes start to fall?
The truth is that by almost any measure, we are in worse economic condition than we were right before the beginning of the Great Depression. We have been living way beyond our means and the debts we have been piling up are clearly not anywhere close to sustainable.
Did you think that we could just continue to run deficits equal to 10 percent of GDP forever?
Question #2:
Why would anybody ever vote for "any" Republican or even a "Conserva-Democrat" if they were aware of this info?
Click Here …The Middle Class in America Is Radically Shrinking. Here Are the Stats to Prove it
"the globalism and "free trade" that our politicians and business leaders insisted would be so good for us have had some rather nasty side effects. It turns out that they didn't tell us that the "global economy" would mean that middle class American workers would eventually have to directly compete for jobs with people on the other side of the world where there is no minimum wage and very few regulations. The big global corporations have greatly benefited by exploiting third world labor pools over the last several decades, but middle class American workers have increasingly found things to be very tough.
Here are the statistics to prove it:
• 83 percent of all U.S. stocks are in the hands of 1 percent of the people.
• 61 percent of Americans "always or usually" live paycheck to paycheck, which was up from 49 percent in 2008 and 43 percent in 2007.
• 66 percent of the income growth between 2001 and 2007 went to the top 1% of all Americans.
• 36 percent of Americans say that they don't contribute anything to retirement savings.
• A staggering 43 percent of Americans have less than $10,000 saved up for retirement.
• 24 percent of American workers say that they have postponed their planned retirement age in the past year.
• Over 1.4 million Americans filed for personal bankruptcy in 2009, which represented a 32 percent increase over 2008.
• Only the top 5 percent of U.S. households have earned enough additional income to match the rise in housing costs since 1975.
• For the first time in U.S. history, banks own a greater share of residential housing net worth in the United States than all individual Americans put together.
• In 1950, the ratio of the average executive's paycheck to the average worker's paycheck was about 30 to 1. Since the year 2000, that ratio has exploded to between 300 to 500 to one.
• As of 2007, the bottom 80 percent of American households held about 7% of the liquid financial assets.
• The bottom 50 percent of income earners in the United States now collectively own less than 1 percent of the nation’s wealth.
• Average Wall Street bonuses for 2009 were up 17 percent when compared with 2008.
• In the United States, the average federal worker now earns 60% MORE than the average worker in the private sector.
• The top 1 percent of U.S. households own nearly twice as much of America's corporate wealth as they did just 15 years ago.
• In America today, the average time needed to find a job has risen to a record 35.2 weeks.
• More than 40 percent of Americans who actually are employed are now working in service jobs, which are often very low paying.
• or the first time in U.S. history, more than 40 million Americans are on food stamps, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture projects that number will go up to 43 million Americans in 2011.
• This is what American workers now must compete against: in China a garment worker makes approximately 86 cents an hour and in Cambodia a garment worker makes approximately 22 cents an hour.
• Approximately 21 percent of all children in the United States are living below the poverty line in 2010 - the highest rate in 20 years.
• Despite the financial crisis, the number of millionaires in the United States rose a whopping 16 percent to 7.8 million in 2009.
• The top 10 percent of Americans now earn around 50 percent of our national income.
Giant Sucking Sound
The reality is that no matter how smart, how strong, how educated or how hard working American workers are, they just cannot compete with people who are desperate to put in 10 to 12 hour days at less than a dollar an hour on the other side of the world. After all, what corporation in their right mind is going to pay an American worker 10 times more (plus benefits) to do the same job? The world is fundamentally changing. Wealth and power are rapidly becoming concentrated at the top and the big global corporations are making massive amounts of money. Meanwhile, the American middle class is being systematically wiped out of existence as U.S. workers are slowly being merged into the new "global" labor pool. "
Shouldn't we go back to real progressives, that support the idea of "We The People" instead of these corporate sell-out Republicans and the "New Dem's" that have now are scattered throughout the Democratic party?

Umm, hey guys, that was CLINTON who signed NAFTA. Not Reagan, not Bush.
Try to keep up, OK?

Why do leftist apologists act like Clinton was powerless to withdraw from NAFTA?
Question #5:
middle class dying......................?
's note: Michael Snyder is editor of theeconomiccollapseblog.comThe 22 statistics detailed here prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the middle class is being systematically wiped out of existence in America.
The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer at a staggering rate. Once upon a time, the United States had the largest and most prosperous middle class in the history of the world, but now that is changing at a blinding pace.
So why are we witnessing such fundamental changes? Well, the globalism and "free trade" that our politicians and business leaders insisted would be so good for us have had some rather nasty side effects. It turns out that they didn't tell us that the "global economy" would mean that middle class American workers would eventually have to directly compete for jobs with people on the other side of the world where there is no minimum wage and very few regulations. Question #6:
money problem with parents legal & moral question?
My girlfriend is having a bit of hassle with her mum. 4 years ago she used to be in the armed forces and when she came out she went to live with her mum for a year or so. Her mum asked her to pay half of the rent for the house she lived in, but having no job/income at the time she was unable to meet this financial ask at the time. She was in a new area with no friends and didnt know anyone and her only comfort at the time was to talk to some of her friends on the telephone/internet and thus ran a couple of large phonebills up.Her mum runs a dog grooming business and hindered her search to getting a job by saying she needed her help with the dogs on plenty of occasions. When my partner eventually did land a job she started paying some rent etc to her mum but the job didnt pay that well and by this point she was in arrears with a loan that she had too so had very little left but paid her some towards the bills that she had ran up etc.
2 Years ago she moved into my house and we now have a child and money is sufficient for us to manage but very little spare. Her mum has now said that my girlfriend owes her 2500 in rents that she didnt pay her and towards the phonebills that she ran up and she wants it all back. We have paid her 50 a month for a while but We are now expecting our 2nd child and my partner is now down to half pay on maternity monies and we just cant afford the £50 month anymore that she is demanding off of us.
Her mum is on a bit of a mid life crisis, coming back from a divorce with her father where money was a sore topic, she now feels the world has screwed her enough in the past and she has gone without enough for everyone else and it is her turn to enjoy life no matter how it affects everyone else and this money HAS to be repaid. When we mentioned that we cant afford to pay her the 50 a month, she has said if we dont pay her she will take her daughter to court for it because it HAS to be repaid. Her mothers business is doing well and she is not exactly short and she lived with her partner who also earns good money. She goes out and spends £60 a week on new shoes and buys new clothes all the time, hair done in the expensive places and always out for expensive meals with her partner, 2 holidays a year abroad. Not that i begrudge her any of this, but i dont see why we should be funding it when our money is tight,
Aside from that fact that it is her daughter and surely parents should help their children out when they have nowhere to live without totting up all the rent they owe. ?? At the moment she is happy to let her me& her daughter and granddaughter struggle by demanding 50 a month off us to go shopping with and put into her holiday fund and somehow i dont believe this is fair. That is when it IS about whether she is well off or not as she does not need the money at this point and we do.
Where would we stand if she did take us to court for the money can anyone give us an idea?
And also bearing in mind the reason for the monies owed is that my partner had nowhere to live and that she has made effort to pay some of it back already, is it unreasonable to think that perhaps her mum should now forget about it as her grandchildren are going to need the money more than her at the moment. I am in 2 minds with this one, being hard faced money owed should be paid back yes, but if it was my daughter and i had let her move in while she didnt have a job i wouldnt tot up all the rent and ask for it all back later as that is what parents are for when it comes to children so am not sure here.
thanks
Question #7:
Is the USA on the verge of financial and social collapse?
The media seems to be hiding we are in a Global Depression which has been orchestrated by The New World Order Mafia to cause a major crisis which has already happened in Europe (food shortage, riots, melt-down of markets).Question #8:
Why do "big" economies, especially the US economy, affect other nations' economies?
I'm not that familiar with international economics so I'm interested in this. Why did the US economy drag down many other economies in the world, as seen in the global financial crisis, for example?Question #9:
"why is the rebuilding of Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem being financed by several Masonic lodges"?
All the politicians are pro Jerusalem but why is that? Why do we have to be on one side and not the other and what makes it so?Is it a mere coincidence that the annual Bilderberger conference for 2010 was held in Greece? Yet we have all seen the Greek economy recently implode sending shock waves through the European Union and Triggering a significant financial crisis within the European Zone. Is it a plan of the Bilderbergers to totally bring down the world economy via a European crisis which will soon engulf Spain and Portugal as a means to further justify the need for a new one world economic currency? Many bible prophecy ministries are pro Israel yet many of them are ignorant to the fact that many of the political leaders of Israel are high ranking members of Masonic lodges whose belief structure is influenced by the Talmud and its apostate Babylonian origins. Instead of celebrating the idea of a rebuilt Jewish Temple why should we instead be asking the question "why is the rebuilding of Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem being financed by several Masonic lodges"?
You will understand the reason why many bible prophecy experts have been muted regarding the election of Barack Obama. What is it that they know but are simply too scared to say and why do many believe Obama is the closest representation of the coming Antichrist
Question #10:
Do you think it's plausible that the US placing sanctions against Iran has actually helped their economy?
The sanctions placed against Iran has shifted their economic dependance from Europe and US and insulated and shielded their economy, as a result they were not directly affected by the US and European major financial crisis.Click Here
Irans GDP grew by 6.2% in 2008 compared to US growth rate of 0.4%, In 2009 it grew 6.5% whilst the US GDP growth was negative -2.4%.
Obviously if their economy was dependent on the US economy during this period, such as Europe, then they would have suffered during the financial crisis, but as a result of the sanctions they seem to be better off, than worse off.
Question #11:
Conspiracy Theory. Do you find most of these thing as Nuts as I do?
Here is a sample of a Spoof on the past and latest. The WTF or World Task Force has released a new comprehensive study into all possible solutions to areas stricken with Over crowed schools, huge economic downturns and the increase in School and Business closures across America and globally. After many years of tax dollars and revenues from various state lottery dollars and taxes on revenues from Casinos the WTF published in the WTF Journal on 7/09/2010 a comprehensive solution to the crisis.
According to the report from spokes person and client of WTF Mr. Bullshivik the solution is for children to simply "Not Go." According to the findings this will result in the overall reduction of students so teachers can focus on actually intelligent children who will benefit from a more direct eduction, and though as a by product this will mean more hooligans in the streets joining gangs and becoming likely to increase in involvement with illegal conduct such as drugs a d prostitution, the benefits will far outweigh the crisis as providing more intelligent specialized children, increase in robotic technologies to supplant a dwindling work force, a resulting drop in excessive population issues allowing gang violence to increase and life threatening diseases to take out the extra baggage and justify the discontinuation of public assistance networks and services that are bankrupting the economy. In addition there will be better jobs available for those who abandon these regions who have received the education and such as health-care and related public services can be geared more towards the better social stock of the civilization and in the resulting slums allow nature to take its course.
These regions can than be isolated and walled up and allowed to crumble and will be policed by armed soldiers and regional marshals to prevent the isolated regions that will be called WCS or World Controlled Sectors or CICs which are Civil Isolation Centers, to keep UIs or Undesirable Influences from Civil City Regions, or CCRs. Those that would otherwise continue to be a strain on the legal system including inmates from various prisons will also be reassigned to a CIC (pronounced Sick in English) which will further reduce the excessive expenses of having to build larger prison systems on valuable lands and potential centers of much needed resources and can be applied Internationally in order to preserve a Democratic Culture and Civil Society.
Political Adviser, Harry Dickers agreed and expect the predominant targeted UIs to be the largest resistance in the New World Restoration Effort of House Bill NWRE 187 which also gives clear and decisive power of private vote to the new and intended UPELG-GA or Unified Political, Executive and Legislative Governance of Global Allience once such a program is initiated and will after a swift Military effort be more than sufficient in initiating the round up program called Operation Ditch the Dirt or ODTD and those who have been causing a financial burden not just in the US but in the World economy. This will include the Homeless, and those who are considered terminally ill, disabled, Mentally deficient or challenged, or don't speak the language, as well as addicts to illegal and prescription drugs, as anyone with any observable and irrevocable debts.
The WTF and intended UPELG-GA plan on presenting this to countries with all the research and evidence under a secret UN meeting with nations most likely to support the efforts and the program models in exchange to private resources and shared economic benefits to the officials and their families as a UN bill called WDR or World Divine Retribution and believed it will pass with a 9 out of 10 percentile with the elimination of so called outmoded International laws.
In addition the policy will allow for the discontinuation of trades with all other countries whose conditions and technological underdevelopment have only further served to stress global economic infrastructures and will be effectively cut off and allowed to perish at their own hands, and any of those intending to try and invade or sneak into "restricted countries" will be executed as threats to the Global and International security of the intended UPELG-GA.
This report by the WTF has been applauded as an intelligent and un-bias approach to solving the present over all crisis the World is enduring and a Tribunal of members of the UPELG-GA will be considered as privately elected International Presidential Members. In addition Science and Technology will be the only accepted social truth in the new GA for short of the UPELG-GA and any and all religions, religious institutions and so forth will be effectively banned as psychologically detrimental to the over all progress of the New World Agenda.
After the successful completion of the Agenda the Aliens will be more open to land and once more interact with the Superior global soc
Question #12:
Do us Americans have the right to show off?
People from foreign countries always complain about how we are full of ourselves and that we are really big headed. But we have the right to do that haven't we? I mean we are a world superpower. We have by far the largest economy in the world in which the rest of the world depends upon. Look at the financial crisis and see how it affected the rest of the world? It started here in America and spread to rest of the world. I know it's not a great example, but do you see the point? Also look at world security. America is the police of the world. We protect other countries through so many ways that some take us for granted. We've exported to the world great entertainment through tv shows and global music stars like Michael Jackson. The rest of the world eats our junk food (i know, not another great example).Surely as Americans we can say that we do so much for the world that we have the right to be a little big headed. I know other countries would do the same if they were in our privileged position.
You foreigners, you're just jealous that the United States of America is the greatest country in the world. It's ok though, even though you hate us we'll still continue to fund for your security and wellbeing. :)
Question #13:
Do you think the economy has had any effect on WWE or TNA?

Question #14:
Did the House Cower in fear and Reject Ron Paul's "Audit The Fed Bill"?
Well, Congress just shot down the potential audit of the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank.Every individual, every business, every corporation and bank has to submit a financial disclosure to the federal govt, but the FED gets off the hook again.
WHY?
Ask yourself, in fact ask every congressman and woman you can find,...why?
Several of the Democrat co-sponsors backed out at the last minute when it came time to vote.
wonder why?
Why is the Democrat party trying to protect the private and unconstitutional FED? I thought they're for the 'little people' yet, they're protecting one of the wealthiest and most powerful institutions in the world. What harm could a simple audit do that Dr. Ron Paul's House Bill intended. Something bad for, We The People, in seeing the money trail?
You can check out which way your congressman voted via the links below...if you are interested.
Are you willing to inform your fellow constituents of their failure to support full accountability from those responsible for this latest economic crisis?

Question #15:
Why do Americans favor Usury?
Interests are the biggest financial crime ever.Interests represent money that has to be created with out any sustenance to pay the debt, because there is no precious metal or any sort of richness that backs it up.
Money is created without creating richness, and your monetary system is completely inflationary.
That's maybe why you are in crisis. That's maybe why you have the largest debt in the world. Americans think they have all the money in the world because they have huge banks and infinite credit cards and it's true.
But all that money is virtual cash that goes for the rich for whom you pay such interests, but they will fail too eventually.
Doodada: Don’t be arrogant. You took all your time to explain to me what an interest was, and not to fight my arguments.
Yes interest is the price to borrow someone else's capital, but a price –sarcastically speaking- somewhat fluctuant.
Why would a bank loan money for free? Not for free, but to a specific cost and no more, because then it’s impossible to fight your debts and all that of that I said happens.
I have to make use of interests and pay 15 times the original amount to the bank because of this, something that is not proportionally fair.
This is not a problem of buying goods and services. It's called stealing.
Interests should be far more regulated.
And I'm not saying I'm an irresponsible person who doesn't pay his debts at time.
Every country and every individual should grow economically at it's own rates and capacity. It's not good to ask for loans because you loose independence.

Why do some non-whites not get along?
Have you ever seen an ethnically hispanic or latin guy not getting along with a racially black guy like in that movie Freedom Writers? How about an Asian guy talking racist crap that whites normally say as if the whites don't hate them too? What is up with that? All white people hate everyone else, culturally speaking. So non-whites need to get together and direct any anger at the real oppressors; whites. When you think about it, 99% of our problems are caused by whites, culturally speaking. Some examples, WWI, WWII, George Bush, slavery, the financial crisis, Ghana beating US, vuvuzelas, Justin Bieber, porn, Soulja Boy, swine flu, prostitution, Paris Hilton, BET, having no milk this morning. Why you ask? Well, because of whites.
Btw, I'm not racist, I watch the World Cup.
