Answer #1:
you are missing the cold warAnswer #2:
Good rundown. But you should include something about Catherine the Great. She expanded Russia's borders, pushed for modernization of the country and tried to promote education. Hugely influential.Answer #3:
If you can, try to sneak in Peter the Great, Sweden's invasion of Russia and involvement in the Napoleonic Wars.Answer #4:
You might want to include something about Peter I (The Great). He modernized and expanded the Russian empire. Also Alexander Nevsky (1220-1263). He fought against German and Swedish invasions. He is an important cultural figure in Russian culture even today.
You really need to mention the Cold War and Space Race. They tie in to each other as the Space Race was a "battle" during the Cold War.
Aside from the invasion of Afghanistan also look into how the Soviets ended rebellions in Hungary in 1956 and Czechoslovakia in 1968.
Answer #5:
I think you should include Peter/Catherine the Great, and I'd also love to see more about the Russian Revolution-particularly about the execution of Tsar Nicholas and his family on July 17th, 1918. I also agree with whoever said that you should do something with the Cold War. Otherwise, looks good!Answer #6:
Respect !A scientific suggestion: Russia had the first satellite (Sputnik) and the first man (Gagarin) in space, this triggered the "run to the moon"
Answer #7:

After America drops the first Atomic bomb, Russia pushes forward to create it's own nuclear arsenal resulting in the Cold War. Russia launches the first Satellite, Sputnik I, and launches the first human into space. The fall of the Berlin wall and the beginning of the collapse of the USSR.Answer #8:

Answer #10:
Hi Jeannette, I am afraid you've got a few mistakes on your list.1)You write: "Duke Ivan III acquired Novgorod from Mongols in late 15th century" - wrong. Novgorod Republic (inhabited with Russians) independent from Moscow up to the end of 15th century was conquered by Ivan III. Mongols had nothing to do with this.
2) "March 1917 Russian revolution broke out which lead to the Russian civil war" - wrong. Firstly, although the revolution happened in March according to our contemporary calendar Russia used a different calendar at that time. The revolution you mention was in February (23–27 February, 1917 Old Style, that is why it's called "February revolution"). Secondly, the February Revolution was not the reason for the Russian Civil War. The Civil War was the immediate consequence of the October 1917 Revolution when the Bolsheviks usurped the power.
